You need to contact Google, it is down to them to update the Google Toolbar so that it works with Firefox 5.

If you install the compatibility reporter things should start working again. I haven't found any issues yet. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/

sorry- I/we did not ask for firefox to change things AGAIN :-( don't know why WE should have to contact google- I would think that would be the responsibility of firefox :-(
