If you don't mind losing other toolbar customizations, you can reset your toolbars back to their default configuration. The easiest way is to use Firefox's Safe Mode.

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Next, close Firefox, hold the Shift key, and restart Firefox. This article describes the options on the dialog: Safe Mode. You only want to reset toolbars.

Does that fix it?

Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing

Try to press "F11" if the only thing you see is the tab bar.

None of the above solutions worked, but I did find a solution. I add all the navigation bar features from option, customize. The was tried before and would not work, but it did work this morning. I just dragged and dropped.
