I don't know if this is a feature, but I find it ANNOYING. Say I have 2 browser windows minimized. I decide to open another window. Why do ALL minimized browser windows and how can I stop it.

Found solution. Had to disable Ask.com toolbar.

<<< The Solution The ASK.com Toolbar can cause other windows to get maximized.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
