I have firefox 5.0. Yahoo just upgrade there email this week. I am not able to view any attachment/pictures in the messages I received, but I am able to view them in IE 8 and Chrome 12.0.742.112. I have deleted cache and add ons, but it hasn't fixed the problem. How do I resolve this?

Hi Lingall, I found that i had to go to Firefox "options" and enable third party cookies, keep until they expire. FF5 now shows images in yahoo mail. Perhaps it will work for you? Not happy about third party cookies but my other addons, no script and ghostery take care of me.

Since upgrading to new yahoo mail i also have this problem in FF5, have tested and tried all help topics, used ff safe mode, cleared cache, set image permissions etc. No problem with blurry fonts. No problem with video attachments, just jpeg type images. Dell laptop Vista home premium, 3 gigs RAM, clean fast machine.

I went through all the same steps that you did, goldhound. I hope someone from will come up with a solution. The only way I can view the jpeg images is when I forward the email - then I can see them in the forward message frame.

I now have a new problem with Yahoo email...I can't copy/paste pictures anymore. I am liking the new Yahoo email less & less.

I went through all of Goldhound suggested but I still cannot attach anything when using my Yahoo Email via Fox (on I.E., I am able to attach things). This problem just occurred today when I accepted the new updated version of Yahoo. (I already had enable Third Parties checked, and I deleted the files in my cache. Help!

I also have the New Yahoo Mail and am able to see the photo as part of the message but not as an attachment. There is no place to find it to download it or save it as a jpg with My Photos. Is this a Yahoo issue or Firefox issue?? I already have 3rd party cookies enabled.

I have figured out how to save files from yahoo mail. First open email then right click it and select view image, then go to file and SAVE PAGE AS and it saves the photo. This is what worked for me, yes I hate the new and improved yahoo mail as well.
