When I try to log onto Mozilla, a pop-up box appears with "Warning: Unresponsive Script," which hinders me from navigating. What do I do?

When I click onto Mozilla from my menu, a pop-up screen appears with the following message:

Warning: Unresponsive script

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

I click continue and EVENTUALLY the Mozilla homepage appears. However, whenever I try to navigate from one screen to another, it will not let me. For example, I have to use Mozilla to work with Blackboard, but whenever I try to reply to a discussion board or open an attachment, it won't do it.

PLEASE help. I posted this question several weeks ago, but got no response from the tech. I reverted to using Internet Explorer, but Blackboard does not work well with explorer. It is set to work with Mozilla.

I would appreciate a quick response. Thanks!

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
