firefox opens multiple tabs with following website www.xn--}-7ba6q2w214j.com
Choosing a page from a website, the redirection to the other page opens up multiple tabs. The multiple tabs attempt to open the page www.xn--}-7ba6q2w214j.com. Usually about 7 tabs are opened automatically.

You may be infected with malware.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

If using the above listed scanners does not fix it or if you are blocked from installing those scanners then ask advice on one of the forums that specialize in malware removal mentioned in the Popups_not_blocked article.
cor-el: Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately running the malware programs (i ran all of them) did not work. I'll do a system restore and start again. Thanks. Cheers.
