When I went to click on an icon in my menu bar, they were all gone. Then I checked my version of firefox and it said beta. I DID NOT WANT THIS. I don't know where it came from. I want it off. I want my old version back with all of my settings. How do I do this?

Chosen solution

Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
