Just upgraded to lateste verison of Firefox and started using the Tab groups. Like them, but noticed that Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmark stored inside the tab groups?
I am using Firefox 6.0 (and still using windows XP ). I have a habit of opening tons of tabs and the new Tab group feature seems perfect for me. But I couldn't find anywhere to save all my tabs as the Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmarks stored inside the tab groups? thanks

I’ve had the same frustrations…
The other day by browser ran into a problem – Facebook issue, actually, if I recall – where I was told to close Firefox and reopen it. I did so, expecting all my old tabs to come back.. (I DO have the option selected to restart Firefox with my windows/tabs from last time.) For whatever reason, though, I guess the crash was too much for the browser to handle, and I lost all those tabs (several groups’ worth, which I am still trying to recover from my History).
I decided now I’m going to start bookmarking ALL my tabs before I shut down the computer, in the event I can’t trust Firefox again to keep them. That leads into my next question, which I notice you’ve experienced as well: I wonder if there’s any way to bookmark ALL tabs with a single click? Like you said, it seems to only work for the current Group that you’re in.
I’d be interested to know if you find anything out. Thanks!

is your group not on this window? push on alt, bookmarks, see my bookmarks!!
thanks for your response. I can use the show all bookmarks to show previously saved bookmarks, but I want to know how to save the new ones I opened up today in my new tab groups.
There are other things that need your attention.
Your plugins list shows that you have the Mozilla ActiveX plugin installed.
- Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin module
The Mozilla ActiveX plugin is not compatible with Firefox 2 versions and later and you should remove it.
For instructions on how to remove the Mozilla ActiveX plugin see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/ActiveX
Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
- "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
- "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.
- "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page.

Thanks I can know get the save all bookmarks, however it only seems to save the bookmarks in the tab group that I am currently in (not all the tab groups)...a major pain...but at least I have them saved. Thanks
I got a message to uninstall Mozilla ActiveX plugin see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/ActiveX but when I go to the site- it provides ONLY information for WINDOWS- I have IMAC? cjb56@verizon.net
If you are on a Mac then you won't see the Mozilla ActiveX plugin showing on the about:plugins page because that plugin was only available for Firefox 1.5.x on the Windows platform. So you can ignore those instructions as they do not apply to you.
I had to restart firefox because of an update and I saved all my tabs and when I restarted firefox it has lost all of my saved bookmarks...won't be using the new tab groups again..very disappointed
