I have version 3.6.23 on a desktip PC. When I "check for updates", I get a message that there are no updates available. What version should I have and how do I get it?

I tried to use a shmetsy.com tool for Etsy. I couldn't use it because of my version of Firefox - 3.6.23 I went to "About Mozilla Firefox" to check for updates and got the message "There are no updates available"

I don't know what versions of Firefox work with Shmetsy. Do they have a system requirements page? It's not in the very short FAQ...

You have the latest in the 3.6 line.

If you want Firefox 7, go to http://www.mozilla.org/firefox to get the installer.

Normally, major upgrades go without a hitch, but just in case, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings to cover yourself in the rare case that something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Thank you. I now have Firefox 7, and Shmetsy is working great.
