I downloaded the new firefox today but it sucked! All my plugins didnt work, and it just kept pissing me off. I had to keep updating stuff like adobe for youtube. What I did was I kept the old firefox on my mac and put the new firefox in a different folder. I uninstalled the new firefox after finding out how horrible it is, all my bookmarks got deleted in the old firefox too! All my settings and plugins too! I looked in the application data folder, then went to firefox and bookmarks.html. and the other one in there. but still nothing! Both files wiped dry! I liked firefox before but this is a huge downfall. Im ready to leave firefox if I dont get my bookmarks back!
