On another user's desktop, when the firefox browser is opened there is are no address bar nor any buttons to navigate at the top of the webpage, so there is no way to go to other websites. What happened?
I have a suspicion that this happened when I was using a cut/paste option when transferring a document from Open Office to an online document, because right after this I lost all tabs and buttons including the address bar and my desktop taskbar at the bottom of screen. So why would this happen and how can I restore it to the correct settings?

You may be in Full Screen Mode if there is no title bar, toolbars or tabs at the top. The F11 key toggles Full Screen Mode on or off.
You may have accidentally un-check some toolbars (checked=displayed; un-checked=hidden). Use the following instructions and place a check mark on any toolbars that your want displayed by checking on those items. Right-click on an empty section of the tab strip.
