I changed to Mozilla Firefox from Internet explorer months ago. Very pleased with features, service, etc. A couple of weeks ago, I got an update message while doing some work but did not install the update at the time. Another update message came up with an accompanying, confusing note indicating some dangerous possible consequences if I did not install the update. A few keystrokes later and my screen seemed to go haywire, and my laptop would not respond to my cursor. I shut down. When I restarted and went to the Firefox shortcut icon a tiny (1"x 1/4") replica of part of the normal Yahoo!/Firefox screen appeared and continues to do so each time I attempt to use Firefox. I'm now back to Internet explorer. HELP me get back to using Mozilla.

Chosen solution

Right-click on the Firefox image in that little Firefox window and see if Maximize is available in that context menu. If so, click on Maximize.

To be clear, Yahoo!/Firefox is a modified version of the official Firefox program and may have faults that aren't in the official version.

You can also try to resize the window via that same system menu in not maximized mode.
