I may have accidentally installed a fake YAHOO toolbar for Mozilla. How do I unintall this? Thanks!
I cannot send out emails from Yahoo since last night when I clicked on an update for my toolbar. Today I received what are obviously 2 fake emails from YAHOO asking for personal information so the problem can be "fixed".
Is there a way for me to uninstall the upgraded YAHOO toolbar for Mozilla? Thank you!

Since you say you installed a FAKE Yahoo! Toolbar update, then-
Task 1- Open the Add-ons Manager in Firefox (Press Ctrl + Shift + A). Now un-install the extensions and plug-ins which have Yahoo! in their name.
If you cannot un-install the extensions (there is no option), then disable them.
Task 2- The fake toolbar might be containing malware in it blocking access to components of Yahoo Mail. Please do a full scan of your system using free version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware-
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php
Remove all malware found.
TASK 3 - Yahoo Mail should now be working again. If it still doesn't please un-install all your extensions. Now delete the following ENTRIES in registry (do not delete the registry key, just it's entries)-
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions
Re-install your extensions after this.
Please click the Solved IT button next to this reply if it solves your problem.
Or, you can use iObit Uninstaller, it's provide powerful scan, to make sure the FAKE yahoo toolbar compenent deleted. it's free to download.
