Possibly the kiwee search engine is something you or something else inadvertently installed on your computer. Firefox does have some standard search options, on recent versions a twitter search has been added, but I am not aware of Mozilla Firefox providing kiwee search.

Have you tried finding and uninstalling the kiwee search toolbar.
