I have noticed that firefox uses buffer in the following quantity: 1. without open Tabs 164 MB 2. Open Tabs also in the 100% use of buffer (example 700 MB).

I did not notice this unless I have checked this inside tracking buffer usage.PC is working very slowly and specially software like Firefox. I have delay 2 seconds before mouse cursor moves and click. How to deal with this?

You have a corrupted Firefox 8.0.1 user agent :

i see that:

User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1

You can check the general.useragent prefs on the about:config page. You can open the about:config page via the location bar, just like you open a website.

Filter: general.useragent

If general.useragent prefs are bold (user set) then you can right-click that pref and choose Reset.

Please help as 242 MB is used by 5 Tabs. Is this true as Mozilla is very slow because of this. Is there any solution to this?

Try disable BrowserPlus plug-in and check it, you must upgrade firefox too, because 4.0.1 it is not supoorted anymore.
