When I open Firefox it automatically opens two unwanted tabs: Lifestyle and Firefox Page. How do I make it stop automatically opening these two tabs?

I cannot update to 3.6 because I teach in Blackboard and it only works with the older version. So please so not ask me to update. Firefox did something in its updates that causes problems in Bb.
