search results overrides search results in another window, so you loose the first search result!
Step 1: Open a Firefox window and google a theme. Step 2: Type Ctrl-N and open an additional FF window. Step 3: In the new window: Search another theme. The result goes into your FIRST Firefox window and overrides what you had there in the first place. How can I avoid this. If impossible, I cannot use this browser anymore.

You use middle-click to open the search results in a new tab in the current window. Otherwise all links are opened in a window (tab) with a specific target name as you have noticed.
