I have no more details. I close Firefox with tabs open. I restart Firefox. There's a button in the middle of the screen that says, "Restore Previous Session" I click the button. Nothing happens. I just lost three hours work.

Make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the Browsing History when you close Firefox.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history

  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
