I upgraded Firefox and all the icons to the left of my bookmarks are gone! WHat happpened and how do I get them back?

Was it an upgrade from Firefox 7 to Firefox 8? I noticed that for sites without a favicon, the "blank document" icon changed to a "dotted rectangle" icon. If you lost other icons, they should be saved when you visit the site again. But that doesn't really explain where they went...

I reinstalled the Favicon Picker 2 add-on. When I revisit a bookmarked site, its icon comes back.

I had the same problem on both my PC and laptop. I disabled the add-on Favicon Picker, and problem solved :)

Did the same thing to me with my upgrade from Firefox 7 to Firefox 8! Just the placeholder default Firefox bookmark icon though. The custom ones from various websites are still there.
