How can I make my Firefox images larger and lock that setting so it will always be shown in the futuree?

I can't read my webpages because the images are too small. Zoom helps but it is only a temporary fix and has to be repeated for each new window. Surely it is possible to change settings to lock in a larger display.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
