What plugin am I missing when I can't hear the music on a web site that uses bgsound(html) in the source code

I have a web site that I go to that uses bgsound in the source code. I can not hear the music. However it works with internet explorer

If a website uses BGSOUND then it will only work in IE.

BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.
