Neither 9.0 for Mac or 8.0 for pC will even think of going to http://www.theblaze.com , why? Chrome and Safari will.

FF 9.0 will not even attempt to go to this site,yet Safari and Chrome will. FF 8.0 for PC on my laptop does the same thing. WHY ?

Chosen solution

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can also try to reset (power off/on) the router.

Problem solved. Thank you Cor-el. I thought i had cleared the cache but apparently not. That is what solved the problem. Thanks again.
