why do I get an Access Denied notice, which includes this number:Reference #18.15010f17.1322476488.1487dcde , when I try to access a certain website?
The website is for an art supply store. I'm trying to access the site via messages sent to my gmail account. The whole message reads: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.jerrysartarama.com/?" on this server.

It looks like they have put geographical restrictions. It could be that they are serving customers from only a particular region or countries.
The numbers could be their way of tracking visitors from outside their area of service.

Thanks very much for your response, which seems quite accurate. In fact just a few hours after reading you view, I received the following mail from the website's merchant, an art supply store: Dear Michael,
I received your email in regards to the access denied page. Regretfully, for security reasons, we had to unforuntately deny access to our website outside of North or South America. I deeply apologize for this inconvenience. We are not sure when this ban will be lifted, but we are working on alternate solutions and will hopefully have the ban lifted in a couple of months. Unfortunately, though, there is no guarentee when or if that will occur.
We can still place orders internationally and ship internationally, we just do not accept orders via our website internationally. You can call us or you can arrange for a good time for us to call you so that you can place an order. I deeply apologize for this inconvenience.
If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much and I hope you have a great day!
Sincerely,
So that's about it. Thanks again,
Michael Metteer
