My laptop died over the weekend and is completely hosed. It was using firefox sync. I have the sync key. I just want to restore the bookmarks from it onto my new machine, but it doesn't seem to work at all. I entered the sync key, and it doesn't pull down anything. How do I do this? Why did I ever switch from Xmarks?

Hi,

Unfortunately Firefox Sync doesn't work as a back up service. If your data is not there, there's not much you can do at this stage.

Sorry.
