Bookmark icons in the Menu intermediately not being displayed. Help?

As per the title, my bookmark icons from the Menu bar are not showing 95% of the time. I have found that by opening 2+ (random) bookmarks the icons will load for a moment, and when you next open the bookmarks Menu they will be blank (again). However I have not been able to get it to load 100% of the icons as whole folders just don't work period. However when I click on Show All Bookmarks the icons are there.

I have tried restarting Firefox without any add-ons and it made no difference. I can not seem to work it out!

Please help.
