My question is why is my Firefox crashing as soon as I open it?
I open Firefox and the tab comes up but that doesn't even load it immediately just gives me the circling rainbow and it never ends. Eventually times out and says that Firefox is not responding. When I say tab I do mean the home page. When this error first occurred I had multiple tabs open. I closed all those, I unistalled firefox and then redownloaded it. The error persists. So far nothing I do makes it so that I can use Firefox any more.
Also I did check all my computer updates and everything is updated completely.

Hey CursedDream,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.
Hopefully this helps!
I actually have read all of those and it still doesn't work. The issue I run into is that Firefox opens up hanging so I can't click anything to do half of what the articles tell me I should do.
I did try the holding shift while it was starting up and it didn't change anything. Thanks for the suggestion though. This is just frustrating as I am not a big Safari person and am stuck using it.
How completely did you read this support article?

On the Mac platform you need to use the Crtl key when opening Firefox to get into the Firefox SafeMode.
Shft is used on Windows and Linux has access thru the terminal.
My Crtl key just acts as the right click asking if I wish to open the program or go to the options.
Using the Crtl and opening Firefox that way still makes it hang and I am left with the spinning rainbow.
I'm sorry if I am just really stupid when it comes to what you are trying to tell me.
