how do I permanently disable the "search firefox help" tab that starts up each session?

more options

An unwanted tab starts to the right of my home page each time I start up Firefox. I can close it but it comes back each session. I have tried to pin it as an app tab but it still starts up each session as well. It's driving me crazy. I don't want it and never did! How do I permanently delete or disable this tab (I still want the new tab "+" available)?
