slow to no page loading - only in Firefox, all web pages - just recently (last two weeks or so). Yes, I have scanned. It happens especially when I have more than onetab going. Help

Firefox slows to a standstill for long periods of time if I am in tabs and browsing. Does not occur in Explorer. Only when +1 tab open: all web sites - Google, facebook, whatever. Began about 2 weeks ago. Yes, I scanned for virus. Help.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
