Firefox crashes, no matter what I do. Downloaded the latest version, and there's still no change. The crash still occurs in Safe Mode. Approximately 18 hours ago, there was a strange black bar over the top of the Firefox menu, and the text (including File, Edit, View, etc.) were all white.

Maybe this is connected, maybe not. But what can I do to stop it from crashing?

Well done for including a Crash ID . Presumably you have read and tried to follow the tips in firefox crashes

I do not like the look of that crash report, it indicated memory problems, and possibly was itself not complete, for instance shows no version numbering of modules.

  1. does the crash seem to follow any pattern, such as
    • use of particular websites, or types such as webmail, or those with video
    • when other background tasks or programs are running
  2. please paste a couple of recent crash IDs into your next message
    • please use safe mode (do not make changes when you see the first options Window, just click on continue) the default firefox theme, and disable all plugins

The above action may even prevent crashes which narrows down the reasons. Presumably you only get firefox crashes not other programs also crashing, or any memory or obvious hdd problems.
