bold textI got firefox to work perfectly with Windows XP on my main computer, but not on the laptop.

The problem is simple - I have to uninstall Microsoft IE, to make things work perfectly. In the uninstal program of my laptop running on Windows 7 the Internet Explorer name is not visible. I know all about defaults, and Using windows to turn off the program. I HAVE TO UNINSTALL.

All my passwords are stored to RoboForm. NO PROBLEM.

But everytime I want to use Yahoo Mail it is asking me for my password. EVERY DARN TIME. On Windows EP I had this problem until I got rid of IE.

I like fire fox, I want it. It is fast. But this problem stops me from using it.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you on is stored in a cookie.

  • Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

Do not use Clear Recent History to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
