i tried swapping shortcuts using mac os x's system preferences keyboard shortcut mapper. after changing, i see that the shortcut commands has changed in the menu items, however the old shortcuts still toggle the the old commands. e.g. if i swap copy to command v and paste to command c, hitting command c would paste instead of copy after the swap.

Hi ssj300,

You should look at some of the cool add-ons available in the repository. There a ton in there that will do what you asking. Customizable Shortcuts is one that comes to mind, but I'm sure there are several that will meet your needs. It really comes down to preference.

Hopefully this helps!
