When I open up www.marketwatch.com it opens up normally then about 3 seconds later a blue cover comes down over the page. It is like looking at the site through dark blue sunglasses. This has been going on for the past couple of weeks and is very annoying. I have 9 other tabs open in this window and they all display normally. I am using Firefox 11 and Windows 7. I also just downloaded/installed the latest version of Adobe Flash. I can open up this site on IE and Google Chrome and it displays correctly. Can you help me with this problem?

Hi wmarti,

I've just been to www.marketwatch.com using firefox 11 and windows 7 and as far as i can see no blue cover comes down over the page.

Is it possible that by dragging the mouse over a particular part of the screen it is bringing up this blue cover?

Have you tried clearing your firefox history etc and seeing if this resolves the issue? It can be found here: Tools ->Options->Privacy->Clear all current history Time range: everything then tick: Browsing and download history.

See if this resolves the issue, otherwise please respond and we will look further for you.

Kind regards bouncer1966

Also, try reading Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should, see if the directions in there help you out any.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
