I had to get a new notebook because something died in my old one and one of the first things I do with new computers is to load up and install firefox. This means I am now bebopping about on the net with the newest version of firefox and wndows 7 sp 1. I normally run multiple tabs in the main window and a couple of other windows of firefox that may or may not have multiple tabs depending on what I'm doing. I've been doing this for a couple of years and firefox has not had any problem with this until now with the latest and maybe not the greatest version, 12.0. The problem is that it is requiring multiple clicks of the mouse button to get it to change focus to the instance of firefox that I want to go to. When I click on the window, it changes but as soon as I release the button, it instantly returns the focus to the previous window and requires repeated clicking to get the focus to finally stick on the window that I want.
