Cannot import favorites from IE7, script error. Tried exporting from IE as html. Same problem.

What script? What do you need to paste? If you export the favorites from IE as .html, you can import that into Firefox bookmarks from the bookmarks library window, using the toolbar item "Import and Backup". You could also try just "Import Data from Another Browser".

If you have problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the Favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.

  • Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
  • Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File
