Somehow I activated an anti tracking feature in Firefox and now a drop down from the toolbar shows whenever I use firefox. It states "Look for this icon in your toolbar". and is sort of a green circle with an O in it. I have tried to get rid of the drop down and cannot. Any suggestions? It blocks part of the screen all the time.

Thank you! I found it in, tools, add on's, and then in extensions. It is gone now.

It might be inserted by an add-on. You can review and disable nonessential add-ons here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons

Check in both the Extensions category and the Plugins category. Then restart Firefox.

Could you find and disable the culprit? If not, could you attach a screen shot showing the bar? Maybe that will help someone recognize it.
