Bookmarklets don't work
I regularly use bookmarklets for various website services (LastPass, Tumblr, Pinboard), but I cant get them to work on Firefox for Android. Here is the behaviour for LastPass:
1) Copy LastPass bookmarklet 2) Go to any website's log in page 3) Paste bookmarklet on address bar, and press enter
Expected behaviour:
a) ligin details are loaded, or a message saying no login information for this site is available
What happens:
It varies. Sometimes the page flickers, sometimes it doesn't, but the end result is the same: nothing. No error msgs, the browser just remains in the login page.

I actually filed a bug for this myself some time ago and it was fixed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=725609
Does the bookmarklet I use as an example in that bug work for you? I.e. is this limited to certain bookmarklets? If so, I advice you to file a new bug for that (based on your high quality report here, I think that would be the best way).
Thanks!
If marcusps is using bookmark keywords as described in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=762155 it is broken at this time.
I am not using bookmark keywords.
djst: thanks for pointing out this other bug. now i know how to bookmark links directly, which is very helpful for bookmarklets.
however, being able to bookmark e.g. the lastpass bookmarklet does not change the behaviour i am describing.
one probkem i found is that when the link is bookmarket us that it is prefixed with
android:lpfill
even if i remove this, the bookmarklet will not work as expected.
The problem may be specific to Lastpass. I tested Pinboard and it works just fine.
I should point out that the Lastpass bookmarklet works fine with the native Android browser (Chriome on Android is problematic)
