I try to install firefox: Download direct from mozilla.org, get the message and type run, then i see the unpacking proces and then NOTHING!

ok, this is sounding slightly suspicious. could you do an in-depth scan of your system with the security software already in place and/or a different tool like the free version of malwarebytes?

as an alternative you could also try getting a portable version of the browser to install & run.

When I choice 'run als administrator' I get the next messages; (btw. the second go's to 100% and then disappears)

I have run a full scan of MABM PRO: nothing found.

Second, I downloaded the portable version and quess what, it worked!!

The first post solved the problem which was using (free version of malwarebytes?) , it appeared that there was malwares preventing firefox to complete the installation process, so after scanning the system two malwares was detected, and then firefox installation worked fine. thanks.
