Newly installed FFox16; how to disable irritating ads in the address bar? Thanks.

Irritating (often very long and completely useless) ad text appears in the address bar immediately after launching the browser. This problem appeared after the installation of the newest version, the older versions were OK. No additional settings changes were made in the 16-version. Searched all the settings, but nothing found - or overlooked? Thanks for help.

hello bantu, there appear to be some sneaky addons in your list of installed extensions, please remove them form firefox > addons: 

Firefox 16 - firefox@firefox.sk
Firefox.sk - SearchSuggest (Test) 0.4.0 - searchsuggest@firefox.sk
Firefox.sk - UrlBox 1.0.1 - urlbox@firefox.sk

please also do a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and/or a different tool like the free version of malwarebytes since this kind of behaviour is usually a sign of malware active on the pc.
