"F.F. servr redirectng request for this adres" when enter Gmail URL in adr. bar to createTab. How 2 fix?

When I entered the Gmail URL into the F.F. Address bar a pop-up tells me: "The Page isn't redirecting properly; F.F. has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I installed G. Chrome a few days ago successfully, with a Gmail tab.

However, I thought F.Fox will be more suitable, made it default browser, created three app tabs & Home Page, but was unable to create the G-mail Tab.

I have read the Help & Support files > http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How-to-clear-firefox-cache?esab= and found the below info

try to clear cookies and cache from Tools > Clear Recent History > Time range to clear select Everything > click on Details and check Cookies and Cache > Clear Now and check it again.

also be sure you have check mark in Accept cookies from sites[ v ] and to Accept third party cookies [ v ]
