When I attempted to check the monthly statement for my credit card account and clicked on "See statement", the next screen that appeared, which was labeled Online Statement", was blank. In the past, I have never had any problems with this. When I checked with the bank that issued the credit card, the representative I spoke with said that it was a browser issue and that, since I was working on a Mac, I should try using Safari. When I switched to Safari, I had no problem bringing up my statement. But I would prefer to be able to use Firefox to obtain information like this, since it's the browser I always use.

In past threads blank pages where PDFs were expected were due to the Adobe Acrobat Plugin. But I do not see that on your plugin list (More system details link)...

If you have it, disable it, then your statement will display in Preview or the stand-alone Adobe Reader.

Tools > Add-ons > Plugins category

If you don't have it, hmmm... a new one.

We have seen reports that the Adobe Reader plugin isn't working on Mac.

Disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and use the external Adobe Reader application or Preview application instead.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Applications > Adobe PDF document : Use Adobe Reader

PDF files may also be found under another entry like Portable document.
