how do I get rid of google permanently?

I hate/detest google and never use it. Can you tell me how to get rid of it permanently please? I do a search on Coperrnic Agent Personal which then uses Firefox as default. I cannot find a simple reference to it, to delete it. Google tracks and algorithms my searches and gives me what searches it wants rather than what I want. Thanks very much google!

My private browsing option is not highlighted to allow it's turning on/off. I do have adblock plus. I want to remove google as a search, ie I put bbc.co.uk in the search window and it goes to the site NOT having google do a search. Iwant to get rid of google completely from Firefox. Mozilla should have an option, "do you want to use Google to search, yes/no" how simple!
