When I do a browser check for online studies, it tells me that Firefox 2.0 is not support by the site. I need to upgrade to 3.0 or 5.0 if possible. Please advise.

Chosen solution

You appear to be correctly on Firefox 20.0 (Soon to update to 20.0.1)

I can not imagine any online school is going to use an old and insecure Firefox 2.x or 3.x or 5.x

Is this some site that is publicly accessible, if so please provide a link to this site and the information.

This is the first time I have used Firefox. I have always used Internet Explorer. If Firefox has new versions or updates, why did it download 2.0 when I downloaded this week? I have been on my school site and it worked okay, but again, my browser checks say Firefox not supported. The site is Ultimate Medical Academy. This is an online school not a public website. They did not give me much information about the browser check and the check browser information was not very forthcoming. It didn't even offer me a good solution. Since it did work, though, I can live with it, but I still would like to have the most up-to-date Firefox. I am having fun learning about this new browser. Thanks for posting an answer to my question.

You posted here with Firefox TWENTY - not Firefox two point zero.

This sounds like an issue with bad browser sniffing that can't cope with the current Firefox/20.0 version data in the user agent.

Did Firefox 19 still work?

papertiger the ancient Firefox 2.0 (two point zero) came out way back in October 2006 so Mozilla certainly did not serve you that version.

The website may likely have a broken browser sniffer as I would not be surprised if it has a problem reading Firefox versions since 10.0
