About 25% of the time when I click on a site, Firefox tells me it is "Unbable to onnect" what do I do?? I need help quick, if possible. Thanks, Jerry
For example: I just went to the SSA webite and I clicked on 2 different topics there and on both it told me Firefox was "Unable to Connect" and this is happening more and more to me. Please can someone help me??

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I tried what you suggested and have even reset Firefox but nothing works. What can I try next, Please?? PLEASE help me.
It has been suggested to me my Firewall settings could be the problem. If someone will tell me what I should do there, I certainly will try it. But Please, when you tell me talk to me like I'm a First Grader. I can go anywhere I want on the Net but when it comes to Tech stuff, I'm dumber than a rock. I just don't understand what people are telling me except in low tech words, Please.
