captivate 7 compatibility
I have spoken with Adobe about using Captivate 7 with Firefox and they have told me the support for the features is unavailable from your end, not theirs. I want to know exactly what it is that Firefox cannot do. I am exporting the package to HTML5.

Current Firefox versions should be able to play MP4 on Window, so if Captivate 7 assumes that Firefox doesn't have this feature and also doesn't include a Flash alternative then Adobe should fix this on their side if they do inappropriate browser sniffing.
Is this solely down to an mp4 support issue? Because my animations play and I don't have any mp4's in them.
I don't have any experience with this, so you would have to check which code gets generated for Firefox in comparison to other browsers. If Captivate doesn't supply valid code that Firefox can use the Adobe needs to fix this.
Maybe you can post a link to make it possible to check this out.
I'm on Linux, so things are likely to be different from Windows.
A good place to ask advice about web development is at the MozillaZine "Web Development/Standards Evangelism" forum.
The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
You need to register at the MozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.
I'll check out what MozillaZine users have to say but I've spoken to Adobe and they claim its a Firefox issue not something they can fix. Hopefully someone will have an answer soon!
