Wanted to try Collusion 0.27, followed instructions, checked add ons it was enabled. Instructions say to click on the iconon the add on bar, but could not find icon or add on bar. read all articles about enabling add on bar and did so . It is checked as being enabled in everyplace I can find. But no add on bar appears at the lower right of the Firefox page. Several articles say to hide or show the icon using hotkey ctrl + / keys. My laptop does not have a single key with + and / so I assume this hotkey sequence is a three key sequence. However, as soon as I press ctrl and the + the size of the web page in Firefox increases! Nothing happens if I then press the / key..

How can I get the add on bar to be visible? Toshiba Satellite 2 GB ram, Vista sp2, updated regularly.

Firefox V 21.

Thanks!

Let's forget Colusion for now.

Are you able to look at the menu to see what toolbars you do have enabled?

I guess Alt + V, T should give that option. I will look up the windows option

you can also get directly to the collusion interface by typing/copying the following into the firefox address bar:

It's two keys: Ctrl and / pressed at the same time.

Some people use the + to show that and some use the hyphen. Lately I mostly see the +.

This is the article to look at

The add-on toolbar is likely to be largely blank and at the bottom of your screen. On the left edge is a cross icon used to close the bar. It may help if you reduce the size of the Firefox Window slightly so that you are sure the bottom edge is visible.

The collusion icon for me is a small black square containing a circular white centre bordered with a red ring. You may need to go into

  • Firefox Button -> Add-ons -> [Extensions] -> Collusion -> [Preferences] to see instructions and to enable Collusion
