When I try to use print preview on some webpages, the entire page doesn't appear. For example on website below, the first page appears, but the other seven pages have content missing. the same goes for trying to print Yahoo's home page. The pages print fine on Internet Explorer.

Does it print fine on Firefox?
You said the print preview was messed up, but you never said if it prints the blank pages.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.

(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)

  • Open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

Please report back with the results.

When I try to print the webpage, it prints the same as it appears in print preview (only the first page prints ok). I tried it in safe mode and the same issue occurs. Thanks.

There are certain style rules Firefox handles well on screen that it is not able to paginate correctly. There are such a variety of scenarios that it is difficult to give a universal solution.

One thing that often works, and seems to work in this case, is to select the interior text of the article (starting from My ProHeat 2X...) through the end of the text in the box, without selecting anything else in the document. Then you can use the Selection option when you print. Note that unfortunately you cannot preview a selection print. However, to spare trees while experimenting, you can print to PDF.

Sometimes selection printing doesn't work well, and there are workarounds for that as well. For example: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/943039#answer-384875

The ultimate solution is to find developers who are energized about solving print problems and sign them on to get these bugs fixed.

Thanks for the response. I just used IE to print it, but wanted to see if there was a fix for Firefox.
