I installed the latest version of Firefox browser on a windows 7 laptop. When I download and save certain webpages and click on downloads under Tools, I notice there are errors on the download window. It looks as if the webpages I downloaded were not saved but when I re-save them the browser prompts it was saved. Is anyone else having problems with errors in the download window under Tools? Do I need to change settings on the browser?

What kind of errors do you see?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.6 r602

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32).

  • (32 bit Windows) C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
  • (64 bit Windows) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\

Thank you very much for your reply Cor-el. I attached the download window image as requested. You can see all the files that were downloaded but shows only 1 mp4 file as not failed. The rest of them show the retry button. Sometimes the downloaded item does not even show up in this window.

The second image is of my browser and as you can see I have the Download Status Bar plugin for Firefox at the bottom and it shows the downloads completed. Let me know if you need more info. BTW I do keep multiple tabs open on the browser and I save them from session to session. Thanks again for any suggestions.
