I installed fire fox hoping to get my email working on this browser. I installed the browser, but I think there is some other software that needs loaded to make my email work. can anyone help me with this issue.

Firefox has a limited role when it comes to email:

  • If you usually work with your email through a web browser, Firefox should work the same way with most sites.
  • If you usually work with your email in a stand-alone program such as Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Outlook, Firefox doesn't change that.

If you have having a problem with a particular email website, perhaps one of the volunteers here has personal experience with it? Could you mention the name of the site (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook.com) and describe the problem you're having?
