hello, you could try this - enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named toolkit.startup.max_resumed_crashes. double-click it and change its value to -1. this will only disable safemode after a certain amaount of crashes occurred though, not when somebody launches it manually...
