- Does this only occur with Firefox?
- Has it only happened after a Firefox update, or changes to your security related software.
- What security related software is in use ?
- Does it happen repeatedly and reproducibly only for certain sites ?
- or does it appear fairly random and sometimes working sometimes not; even for the same site
Do any of these help
- Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can
- Firefox and other browsers can't load websites
- Websites don't load - troubleshoot and fix error messages
- Server Not Found - Troubleshoot connection problems
- Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet
This is a problem that could have a number of causes. The third article linked above lists some of these and offers advice in tracking down and fixing the problem.
Check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network : Connection > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
Thanks, I found it only happens on one website "OLX". I checked connection settings. See attachment please.
Further to my original post i now find that if i google olx it loads ok for me but when i click on the olx bookmark it gives me the oops message.
Just delete the existing bookmark then, and make a new bookmark from the page that works.
I deleted the old bookmark and did another but it works occassionally and not all the time. I can google "OLX" free ads and it works from there.
All of my bookmarks for sites work ok. i.e. when i click on any other bookmark the site opens ok.
What is the bookmark ?
Paste the link into your next message. I will see if it works for me.
Bookmark link>>http://www.olx.com.au/myolx/myolx.php?x=1
That is caused by the server response:
http://www.olx.com.au/myolx/myolx.php?x=1 HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Location: //login.php?a=4&mli=1&x=1
